Or, link them together for a fantasy and lead-in to soft bondage games. They’re meant to adorn your body with suggestive eroticism, and can also be worn with their matching gold collar for the full look with heightened desire. The cuffs and chain are very unique, mixing delicate gold plates, lines, and chains to link together a cuff designed with aesthetics in mind. They have a delicate mosiac-style mesh with gold squares connected by thin gold strands. They are definitely not meant for harder wear or BDSM play which will at all pull or tug on the delicate material. Aside from some very soft role play, these cuffs are meant for your viewing pleasure only.

The handcuffs are designed to fit a wrist with a circumference or 6.5 to 9.5 inches. The width of the cuff is 1.5 inches, and fits like a wide yet thin bracelet. The cold, metallic touch adds an extra level of sensation to your play. The cool, sleek metal feels cold against the skin, then warms to your body temperature during wear. If you pair the cuffs with the matching collar, you’ll feel the cool metal of the collar as well as it delicately drapes against your skin.

Delicate, Fragile Strength

Although these delicate cuffs are deliciously designed with aesthetics in mind, they are definitely not meant for rough bondage play. I would be very hesitant to pull or tug on them at all, as the delicate materials could easily tear and break under pressure. I didn’t want to test their limits – but I can definitely tell that they’re lightweight and would not stand up to the type of wear I’d put them through. They are definitely more meant as an erotic aesthetic that can be used for seductive suggestion, then taken off before real play. They look absolutely adorable when worn for role-play, and lovely with the right outfit. Just take them off before you get down to business! Otherwise, they are very easy to use, designed with comfort in mind, and are easy to adjust. All of the clasps and buckles feel secure, and are easy to use and move. Although all the pieces are lightweight, they definitely don’t feel cheaply made!

Keeping them Clean

If you find that your handcuffs are getting dirty (and not the good, fun kind of dirty!), the best way to keep them looking good is by spot cleaning with a gentle, non-abrasive soap and a damp cloth. Due to the metal material, you could also submerge these handcuffs or get them wet – but be cautious to dry them thoroughly and leave them out to dry for a bit, so all the nooks and crannies won’t hold moisture.

Overall

The Bijoux Indiscrets Desir Metallique Handcuffs are really lovely in all respects. They feel incredibly seductive and luxurious, and are very aesthetically divine. Especially when paired with their matching gold collar, they are a great addition to a kinky style, and would be perfect with the right outfit. You could easily wear a cuff as a bracelet without any curious eyes wondering if it’s a cuff. I personally like to wear them as a seductive warm-up to let my partner know I’m down to play! I just wouldn’t wear them to actually keep me bound to anything… as I’d be heartbroken if they broke during play.
