First Timer

I was beyond excited to give The Prism, one of their most popular toys, a try. Made entirely of clear quartz crystal, this power stone is called a “Universal Crystal” because of its very many healing powers. According to Chakrubs, it “enhances energy by absorbing, storing, amplifying, balancing, focusing and transmitting. It is extremely beneficial for manifesting, healing, meditation, protection, and channeling. Immediately when holding my toy, I felt like this was something different. Something about it felt tingly and powerful. Maybe it was placebo, but I definitely felt like this toy had some unique energy. According to Chakrubs’ directions, I washed the toy, soaked it in salt water, and allowed it to cleanse overnight in moonlight, to clear its energy and allow it to start fresh as mine. When I was finally ready to give it a try, I first held the toy close to my body to allow it to warm up from its typically cool stone state to a warmer, body-temperature feeling. I noticed how sturdy and thick the design was. It felt much heaver that typical glass toys, weighing in a 1.5 pounds. At 7 inches long and 1.75 inches wide across, this toy wasn’t too large for comfort, but definitely felt substantial and firm. It has two ends with various sizes, one smaller at 3.5 inches and the other larger at 5.25 inches in circumference. (Some toys vary slightly as all are handcrafted.) The smooth surface felt nothing short of luxurious!

The Experience

Using the Chakrub was nothing short of amazing. Charged with energy, the toy felt like it had gentle, subtle vibrations. Of course, this is a non-vibrating dildo… but something about it still felt somewhat electric. I’m not sure how to describe it aside from a subtle energy flowing through the toy. The smooth surface felt irresistibly amazing and could easily be thrusted or used to massage your g-spot, depending on your preference. While this particular toy is not curved to hit the g-spot, it was easy to maneuver and place it exactly where I want it. The heavy material allows you to really customize your experience, whether you prefer harder thrusts or a intense internal massage. If you enjoy temperature play, you can warm this toy up under hot water or chill it in the fridge before use. It’s also compatible with any type of lubricant, so you can enjoy your favorite without worry. Cleaning is super simple after you’re done using it. Their founder says, “For after every day use, cleansing chakrubs with mild soap and water is fine.” Super simple!

Pros & Cons

Overall

This toy would be amazing for anyone, but particularly those people who feel a healing connecting to crystal. It’s incredibly high-quality, luxurious, and simply beautiful. While I didn’t have an incredibly spiritual experience during use, I have no doubt that others will feel strongly spiritually connected to this toy and other Chakrubs. If you’re looking to explore your sexuality with an energetic, metaphysical twist, I would definitely recommend this toy. I’ll proudly be displaying it and playing with it regularly!
