Romance on the Go
The Kama Sutra Getaway Kit is perfectly sized to tuck into your suitcase and comes in a discreet black carrying case that won’t raise any undue suspicion. Packed with a multitude of romantic treats, it’s sure to tantalize the senses.
Oil of Love
Kama Sutra’s Oil of Love is a delectable, kissable body oil, perfect for massages and extended foreplay. It also has a subtle warming sensation, though perhaps that’s just caused by the friction of a good massage! Vanilla Crème is the flavour in this set, and it is sweet and light and not overwhelming. As someone with sensitivities to some fragrances, I was delighted that the Vanilla Crème scent was sweet without being overpowering. Despite the name, it doesn’t include any real oil, so clean up is easy.
Body Souffle
Like the Oil of Love, the included Body Soufflé is also Vanilla Cream. I didn’t exactly know how to incorporate it into partner play, as it’s sort of a fluffy, whipped lotion, but I do like the smell and use it as a regular hand lotion. As mentioned above, its small size makes it ideal for traveling with, or tossing into a purse or backpack.
Honey Dust
I could go on and on about Honey Dust, but I’ll try to keep it short and sweet… Speaking of ‘sweet’, the Honey Dust included in the set is Sweet Honeysuckle flavor – a nice complement to the other vanilla products. The included feather duster is perfect for applying the Dust to your partner and the delicious taste makes it just as perfect for kissing off later. However, a lazy girl at heart, my favorite thing about Honey Dust is that, in a pinch, it doubles as dry shampoo and it smells much better than any of the real dry shampoos I’ve tried.
Classic Lubricant
Also included is Kama Sutra’s Classic Lubricant. It is a water-based formula, and scent and flavour free. However, in the spirit of full disclosure, I must admit that I did not try the lube. The formula contains glycerin and I try to avoid lubes with glycerin (with the exception of some flavoured lubricants that I do not use vaginally). Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Body soufflé is nice for everyday use
- Honey Dust has a million uses
- All products smell and taste amazing
Cons:
- Candle is unscented / has no real use
- Lubricant contains glycerin
Overall
The getaway kit was a nice way for me to sample Kama Sutra’s line and learn what I like and would like to use more of in the future. I would recommend this set to anyone looking for some added sensuality without too much of a naughty factor.
