Look & Feel
The real seller for The Goldfather, in my opinion, is the look and feel of this product. The gold flecks are absolutely gorgeous, and while they work as conductors if you’re using an electric toy, they’re also safe for use in all types of play, and including with a condom. I bet you never thought there was a special lube to break out on New Year’s Eve or after a formal. Well, there is, and it’s The Goldfather!
Beyond that, the texture is also very impressive. Unlike the drug store lubricants I’m used to, there’s absolutely no sticky residue, but it’s still long-lasting and, like most water-based lubes, can be “reactivated” with a little bit of water. (That being said, if you’re using The Goldfather in conjunction with an e-stim toy, don’t bring it into the shower).
Other Features
I love that The Goldfather is made from body-safe ingredients – parabens are bad for you, and glycerine can cause reactions. This lube is free from both, though it does have propylene glycol which can also cause reactions. The scent is very light, sweet, and fruity, reminding me of my favorite pineapple vodka, minus the alcohol. My eight ounce bottle of The Goldfather is cute, with a gun motif playing on the lube’s name. The pump locks up with a simple twist, ensuring you won’t have a lube leak in your toy drawer.
Conductivity
I used The Goldfather with my favorite e-stim toy, another Mystim product: Electric Eric. I definitely could feel the difference when using this gold-flecked glide, compared to my normal lube. The electric waves seemed to flow out to wherever I had placed the lube, so while I enjoyed the electric stimulation internally, my external lady bits enjoyed the buzz, too.
Overall
I really love Mystim’s The Goldfather lubricant. While it feels amazing with my e-stim toys, I definitely won’t be reserving it for those alone. It’s the ultimate lube for anyone who wants a dash of luxury in their life. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but gold just might be my new lover!
