When I first came across the Rock-Chick by Rocks-Off, I knew I had to try it. With a sexy, smooth design, this toy is sure to catch any girl’s attention. The Rock-Chick is a unique rabbit-style vibrator aimed at providing simultaneous G-spot and clitoral stimulation, which is controlled by the legendary RO 80mm Bullet. It promises to “rock you into an explosive orgasm over and over again”. However, with weak vibrations and no arousing effect on my G-spot, it fell a bit short. I couldn’t feel the vibrations on my g-spot, and it wasn’t a great fit for my body overall. Although it’s not my favorite toy, there are some awesome things about the Rock-Chick. The rippled clitoral pad, when adjusted, did provide a pretty strong sensation on my clit. Also, made of 100% body safe silicone with a waterproof design, this vibrator is hypo-allergenic and super easy to clean. Experienced sex toy users that know where their G-spot is will have more fun with this toy than a beginner would, as long as it’s a good fit for your body and you don’t mind lighter vibration. And if you like toys that tease, but require extra effort on your end to stimulate, this may be the perfect toy for you!

Note: This product is no longer available, but the bullet that came with it, the Rocks Off RO-80mm is, as well as the larger, more powerful Rocks Off RO-160mm.

Design & Size

The Rock-Chick was definitely designed with the importance of aesthetics in mind. Even the box it comes in is eye catching – covered in a swirly hearts pattern with different shades of purple and a window large enough to showcase the Rock-Chick’s full body. Measuring at 5.2” in length, with an insertable length of 3.5”, and a 1.3” girth, the Rock-Chick will fit most women comfortably. Its curved, C-shaped body features a bulbous tip at one end and a wide, deeply rippled pad at the other. The RO 80mm Bullet is inserted in the clitoral pad and has a small silicone button at the top, which turns this vibe on and off, and controls its functions. The vibrations can be changed with a soft push, but to turn if off, you have to hold the button down for 3 seconds. In my experience, the width of the clitoral pad causes it to rest more on the vaginal lips than the actual clitoris. Also, while the idea behind the Rock-Chick’s design to be hands-free is awesome, it didn’t really work out that way. For my clitoris to feel the vibrations, I had to hold the pad down on it. I got to try the Rock-Chick in purple, but it also comes in vibrant red and hot pink.

Material

Other than the inserted metal and plastic bullet, the Rock-Chick is made completely of silicone. Silicone is great as it’s phthalates free, non-porous, and hypoallergenic, so no bacteria builds up. It’s super smooth, with a velvety softness. Plus, the thickness of the Rock-Chick’s silicone makes it highly squishy and flexible. With such a flexible body, this toy is able to contour with a woman’s movements. When the bullet is removed, this toy is also 100% waterproof.

Vibration & Power

While the 80mm speed Bullet packs a lot of power by itself and would be pleasurable to most users, however, that power was lost under the Rock-Chick’s thick layer of silicone. The clitoral pad was not affected by this, as it’s directly touching the bullet, but from the middle to G-spot tip, vibrations were virtually impossible to feel. Nevertheless, the Rock-Chick offers 7 functions, 4 patterns and 3 speeds, which are all controlled by one button.

  1. Steady, medium vibration
  2. Steady, fast vibration
  3. Even quicker, steady vibration; tickling sensation
  4. Jerky pulsations
  5. Quicker, jerky pulsations
  6. Quick vibes, then short pause; think of an engine revving up
  7. Longer vibes with short pauses in-between

During solo play, the Rock-Chick is best when used either sitting and rocking on it, or while laying down. I tried both, and prefer using it while lying on my back, as I am able to feel the clitoral vibrations much better. Rocking on it only seemed to offer vibrations between my thighs and for my outer labia, but nowhere else.

The battery, which is included, is housed in the removable bullet. Before using the Rock-Chick, you must remove a small paper disc sitting on top of the battery. For me, removing the bullet was somewhat difficult at first – I had to squeeze gently under the last ripple on the clitoral pad to push the bullet out some, and then was able to pull it all the way out. Afterwards, slide the bullet back in, press the silicone button at the top, and you’re ready to rock’n’roll. If you’re having trouble inserting the bullet, you can use a little bit of water based lube.

Cleaning & Care

The Rock-Chick is extremely easy to clean, which I love. It’s recommended that you remove the bullet first, and afterwards you can virtually clean it however you wish. In addition to soap and warm water, it can be wiped down with a 10% bleach solution, put in boiling water for a couple minutes, and is even dishwasher friendly. While the hard box the Rock-Chick comes in provides a great storage option, it is made of thin cardboard and will wear off after a few uses. Like other silicone toys, it’s best to store this in some type of small bag.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Very quiet
  • Soft and flexible, with a unique shape
  • Easy to clean
  • Rippled texture for added stimulation

Cons

  • Thick silicone dulls vibrations
  • Did not fit my body well
  • Could not feel vibrations at tip for G-spot

Overall

Overall, while I am absolutely in love with the look and feel of the Rock-Chick, the vibrations just weren’t strong enough for me. The curved tip for G-spot stimulation didn’t work well as the vibrations couldn’t be felt through it. Also, the clitoral pad rested so far out that I had to hold it down on my clit the whole time to get any stimulation, which defeats the hands-free feature. The Rock-Chick offered a nice, light vaginal massage, but one that didn’t stimulate the targeted erogenous zones. If you’re a power queen, this toy is definitely not for you, but if you like insertable toys that will tease and tickle your clit, this may be worth getting. It’d be best for someone who prefers lighter vibrations to gently push you toward an orgasm, so long as you’re willing to work a bit to get there. It also comes in a smaller version, also linked to below.
