The Basics

The Siime Eye is one inch in diameter and eight inches in length, with just over half of that being insertable length. The entire toy is 100% waterproof and can be submerged underwater for added fun, as long as the bottom plug (where the USB charge cord would attach) is fully inserted. As an added bonus, the Siime Eye comes with one extra bottom plug, which is an absolute life-saver for anyone who, like me, is prone to losing tiny important pieces of things! Charging this vibrator takes one and a half hours to achieve a full charge, which lasts for two hours of continuous play. At any time, you can press the large silver button on the front of the toy and up to four lights will turn on, indicating the remaining battery life (with four lights being a complete charge).

Cleaning and care for the Siime Eye is incredibly easy. Because it is waterproof and non-porous, you can wash it with soap and water, or your favourite sex toy cleaner. The toy is made of silicone though so, as with all silicone toys, be sure to use a water-based lube with it to avoid degradation caused by chemical reactions with silicone and oil based lubes.

Vibration

There are five intensity levels for the Siime Eye’s vibration function, as well as the additional “Svakom Mode” which is an intelligent vibration mode, unique to Svakom products, designed to help you achieve faster orgasm by mimicing the rises and falls of intercourse. Personally, I would have preferred there to be just one more level of powerful vibration. While the vibration levels are still enough to get the job done, it wasn’t quite as strong as I would have liked, but would likely be perfect for more users. (Though, in the spirit of full disclosure, I prefer penetration over vibration, so this may not be an issue for anyone who is more accustomed and receptive to vibrating toys.) Overall, I was satisfied with the vibration that the Siime Eye provides.

Camera

What makes the Siime Eye truly unique is the built-in camera. Surrounding the camera are four LED lights, making images clear and easy to see. In order to use the camera function, you will first need to download Svakom’s software. It is available for iOS, Mac, Android, or Windows. When I tried to download the software for my laptop however (a 2012 MacBook Air, running OS X 10), I was unable to successfully install it due to compatibility issues. Thankfully though, I downloaded the Svakom app to my iPad instead, with no concerns. Included with this toy are brief instructions on how to properly set up the software and connect your vibrator. I found the screenshots to differ from what I actually saw and to be incomplete and a little difficult to understand, additionally, there are no instructions for how to use the app once it is connected with your vibrator. It took me some time, trial and error, and several error messages to figure out what I was doing. Once I knew how to use it though, it was quite simple and was much easier to reconnect for later use.

As you can see in the following two pictures I took of myself using the Siime Eye, the camera works well at close range, but is blurry from far away. This isn’t an issue though once the toy is inside your body, as there is no need for anything besides close-ups.

Once you’ve connected the toy to your computer, phone, or tablet, you can watch live what is happening from the Siime Eye’s point of view. The maximum wireless distance is 100 feet, so there are a lot of options on how you may want to use this toy, especially if you’re using it with a partner. Besides watching live, you also have the option to take a photo or video at any time during use, if you’d like to save your adventure to view again later. Any media you save during play will be saved to an in-app gallery where it can then be either deleted or exported to your device’s photo gallery.

One complaint that I did have about the Siime Eye was that I found it a little difficult to keep the camera lens clean during use. As with any camera, to get a clear image, the lens can’t be smudged in anyway and given the nature of this toy, it was ridiculously easy to smudge it, since the camera is located right on the insertable end.

Overall

When it comes down to it, the Siime Eye by Svakom is a completely unique toy that I would absolutely recommend to anyone interested in learning more about their anatomy or anyone who’s just looking for a nice, high quality vibe. Using this toy was an experience like no other, I felt like I was watching a reproductive-system themed episode of Dr. Oz! Definitely check it out if you want to see your orgasm in action.
