When I first saw Jopen’s new line – “Lust” – I was instantly intrigued. Each of the vibrators in the line has a unique design, taking a step beyond basic egg bullets, rocket-shaped vibes, and phallic or animal themed rabbits. Instead, Jopen has created a set of gorgeous toys with elegant curves, shapely bumps, and twists designed to please. Yet, Jopen didn’t just design a line that was aesthetically pleasing. They wanted the experience to be equally sensory. All toys in the Lust line are made of pure high-quality silicone, rechargeable via USB, and entirely waterproof. They also have a lock feature if you travel (though, they don’t come with a pouch). Best of all, the vibrations are powerful enough for me, and have a nice variety of pulse patterns – though, I do with it had more than one speed. The dual stimulation or rabbit-style vibrator I tried – the Lust L12 – had a great design and flexible tip so you could perfectly position it over your clit. I would have preferred a tip that was split to cradle my clit, but overall, I really liked this vibe, and would recommend it to anyone who likes mid-to-high vibrations, unique designs, and is exploring dual stimulation. It’s definitely a nice change from animal-inspired and phallic-themed rabbits.

Super Cool Design

My favorite part about this vibrator is the design. It has a really cute L shape, with gradual bumps along each of the ends for some unique stimulation. The interior portion is longer than the clitoral portion. It has an outer round bump to stimulate your g-spot, with a gradual decrease in size, then another larger bump which stimulates your outer vagina. The clitoral portion has a large bump at the bottom which can stimulate your vulva and clitoris, with a tiny flexible tip at the top for pin-point stimulation. The controls and charging port are at the base of the toy, on the outside where they both meet.

The curves of the Lust L12 would be great for a beginner, who may prefer something smaller and simple for penetration. It fits my anatomy nicely, though depending on how you’re set up down there, you may not be able to get the toy in all the way, at the clitoral bump protrudes and may prevent to toy from going further. The rounded areas provide a lot of stimulation, though I do wish that the g-spot portion was a bit more curved and pronounced. The internal part of the vibrator is great for thrusting, though – which definitely makes up for it’s more gentle g-spot stimulation. The curves didn’t get caught or pull on my pubic bone at all.

The clitoral portion of the toy was not well-aligned with my anatomy, unfortunately. The large bump fits me just fine, but the little tip is no where close to my clitoris. Granted, my clit is very close to my vagina – but even when I pull my clit up as far as it can go, and push the toy down as far as it’s flexible areas will allow, it still just barely makes contact. When I use the flexible tip against my clit without the toy inserted, it does feel very pin-point and direct. I imagine that ladies with a further away clit would have better luck, but I can’t comment on it. Otherwise, the vibrator is super ergonomic, comfortable to hold and use, and the buttons are placed in the perfect position so that you can access them easily, but won’t hit them accidentally.

Silicone covers the entire exterior of the toy – including the buttons and charging port – making it entirely waterproof. I love silicone because it’s so body-safe, but also because it’s easy to clean with feels fabulous against my skin. This particular silicone is very smooth, although it does have a slight drag. You’ll probably want to use lube with this one. Just remember to use water-based lube rather than silicone-based, as it could degrade the surface. You can use soap and water to clean it, but it can also be cleaned more thoroughly with a 10% bleach solution. There aren’t any annoying seams on this toy, so there’s no nooks and crannies for gunk to get caught up in.

Vibrations & Power

Before you get started with this toy, you’ll have to unlock it. It took me a while to figure it out – until I finally turned to the manual for help – but it’s actually really simply. Just hold down both buttons for a few seconds until both lights appear, and the toy will be ready for use. If you plug the toy in for a charge, it automatically locks – so you’ll have to unlock it again. This can be frustrating if you’re in the moment and don’t want to waste time fumbling with a toy – but it does come in handy if you’re traveling and don’t want the world to know about your vibe.

The bottom button turns the toy on and off – while the top button controls the patterns. There is only one speed, unfortunately – but the patterns are generally nice. The patterns are:

  • Mid-Level Steady Vibration (somewhat buzzy, somewhat powerful, but not crazy intense)
  • Light Quick Pulses (very unsatisfying)
  • Mid-Level, Longer Pulses (kinda satisfying)
  • Mid-Level Quick Pulses, with some Mid-Pulses (pretty snazzy)
  • Mid-Level Long Pulse, with some Mid-Pulses (very unique, and feels great)

Cycling through the patterns brings you back to the first. I wish you could increase or decrease the intensity of the vibration, either with three different vibration settings in the beginning, or another button which could allow you to control the pattern intensity. But, even without that variety, these patterns are great and overall definitely satisfying. The power is decent and suitable for the average gal, but power-lovers like me will likely want something stronger, more rumbly, and deeper. It has good power, but it isn’t quite enough to put me over the edge by itself. For the size and intensity, it is very quiet – about on par with an iPhone’s vibration sound.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Nice high quality, silky silicone
  • Cute, chic, sleek design
  • Waterproof
  • Rechargeable
  • Nice variety of vibrations

Cons

  • Design may not work for all anatomies
  • Average vibrations

Overall

The Lust L12 is a great choice for anyone who wants a dual stimulation vibe and prefers a mid-level vibration. Beginners will go crazy over this toy – and even seasoned enthusiasts who prefer average vibrations will find a place in their drawers for this awesome toy. The design is fabulous – the patterns are great – and I love that it’s totally waterproof, high-quality silicone, and easy to use, store, and charge. I really love everything about it and would highly recommend it – even if it wasn’t a perfect fit for the anatomy of my clit, and left me wanting a bit more versatility in vibration strength. I really, really like this vibe!

Thank you, SheVibe or sending me this awesomely unique vibe!
