Pretty Design
The shape of the Loveo Ione is not only unique and appealing to the eye, but the curves make it perfect for handling. Whether you’re straddling your partner’s back and giving them a sensual shoulder massage or using the toy on your lady parts, it perfectly fits any hand, body type, and position. The contrast of the metal and silicone makes it easy for the user to keep his or her grip. It’s very lightweight, long, and sleek, measuring at 8.4 inches in length, 1.5 inches in width, and 1.65 inches in circumference. The smooth, matte silicone not only feels phenomenal and high quality to the touch, but is easily washed with warm water and soap or your favorite toy cleaner. The material is waterproof, making it perfect for play in the shower. The only downside I noticed in design was a small groove between the metal and silicone, meaning those using the toy, especially for penetration, should pay extra care when cleaning it.
While I prefer to use this toy for clitoral stimulation, the curves make it possible for thrusting and G-spot stimulation as well. However, the shaft isn’t particularly thick and the shape isn’t very well-suited for internal play, so I definitely think this toy is best used for clit play or external vaginal stimulation using the wider, round head. I was able to achieve some pleasurable G-spot stimulation, but that’s just not the use I prefer this particular toy for.
Vibrations & Power
Three buttons, covered by a thin layer of plastic, are ensconced by the metal surface on the shaft of the toy. I usually walk away from the toy and am able to turn it off later, but oftentimes I forget or it just won’t do what I want so I end up leaving it turned on. The battery then drains and I have to plug the toy back in to charge it before use. This seems like a small price to pay given how much I otherwise love the massager.
Unique Features
The best, most innovative part of the Loveo Ione is that it reads your body. By pressing the center button for three seconds, the automatic touch control mode can be accessed. The vibration’s intensity is decreased and then increases back to the maximum while touching your body. While I can imagine using this for a sensual massage on a partner, or really several interesting partnered-play ways, solo it leads to an absolutely mind-blowing clitoral stimulation. I can truthfully say that I have experienced the best orgasm I’ve ever had from a vibrator while using this toy. The various modes and speed control options are perfect for those that know what they want, but for someone like me, whose orgasm is a fickle, but much loved friend, the intuitive intensity of this toy is earth-shattering.
Beyond that, my first impression of the Ione was that it was absolutely perfect for travel. The toy came in a sturdy box. You can recharge it via USB or A/C. The box makes toting this item on a trip easy and discreet. A velvety drawstring bag was also provided. While the port where the charger is plugged into on the Ione is exposed, it’s minuscule and waterproof, and the toy is overall less cumbersome than its battery-operated counterparts.
