The Lust Wand needs to be charged before its first use. Simply use the USB plug to charge it up, and you’ll be good to go. The three buttons on the side offer a variety of settings. The bottom button turns the toy on and off, while the middle button controls the pattern of the vibrations and the top controls the power of them.
There are multiple vibration patterns, ranging from one consistent buzz to various pulsations. I really enjoyed flicking through all of them, but let’s face it – I’m a one mode kind of girl. I ended up choosing the steady vibration pattern as my go-to, and I like that I can control the power, usually opting for the strongest or second-strongest setting. Yes, a magic wand has even more power than this toy, but for a small, rechargeable wand, the power is UP THERE. It’s honestly perfect for me, and I consider myself to be just shy of a Power Queen.
What’s so great about the power is that it isn’t too loud. While it really packed a punch, I wasn’t worried about housemates (by which I mean my parents) hearing it. Sure, if your roommate is one room over, there may be some concern, but for providing such strong, steady vibes, the noise level is at a solid medium.
The soft silicone feels fabulous on contact, and the rounded head of this toy is super flexible, meaning you can angle the tip of the wand however your body craves. Combined with the power, the flexibility and soft, luxurious texture got me off three times in the span of five minutes. And these were the best orgasms I’ve had in a long time. I saw colors I didn’t even know existed.
To clean the Lust Wand, use your favorite toy cleaner or some soap and warm water. However, DO NOT fully submerge your Lust Wand in water. The only bummer for me? This toy isn’t waterproof. I would love to bring it into the bath with me. This isn’t typically a concern for me, but I love this toy so much that I want to experience it everywhere. I would love an updated version with a waterproof feature! The Lust Wand also came with a soft, satiny drawstring bag perfect for discreet transportation and protecting in my toy drawer.
I don’t plan on getting a “real” boyfriend any time soon, so this Battery Operated Boyfriend will certainly please me for now. However, once I settle down, I think I’ll find ways to incorporate this toy with partnered sexy times. Like any wand, it can also be used as a massager, and silicone is body-safe and easily cleaned, meaning when properly cared for, it’s perfect for sharing.
