Design
Somewhat floral in shape, the S4 is very feminine and absolutely adorable. The design is meant to cradle your clitoris on either size for ultimate pleasure, or you can use either point for pin-point stimulation, or one of the surfaces for a broader sensation. The flexible wings are absolutely fabulous for precise, comfortable stimulation. It’s also lightweight and the perfect size to fit into any hand, at just 4.27 inches long.
Lay-On Vibe
The S4 is designed to be a lay-on vibrator, but is so much more than that. Personally, I was looking forward to using it as a “lazy girl” vibe, and simply laying on it. While I did get some pleasure while using this toy as intended, the possibilities for using it are almost endless. The soft, flexible twin tips of the S4 are perfect for wrapping around a nipple, clit, or a man’s shaft. It’s definitely a toy I’ll bring out for foreplay with a partner.
When using the S4 as a lay-on vibe, I could’t get enough precise stimulation. The vibrations are somewhat intense, but I need more powerful vibrations if I can’t get a precise angle. I prefer to use the S4 while holding it with one hand, but if you’re excited to embrace your laziness like I was, try placing the toy on a pillow before lying down on it, or, if you’re comfortable doing so, holding it while lying on your arm to get more precise stimulation using your hand.
Material
The Ovo S4 is also soft, silky smooth, and made entirely of silicone, which is always body-safe. The silicone material is phthalate-free and non-porous, so you don’t have to worry about it harming your bod as long as you’re wiping it down with some soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner after use. Charging is discreet and safe. It comes with a USB cord and charging port. The port is a very small, a there’s a silicone dot that covers it, making me feel extremely secure that this toy is waterproof.
Power & Controls
The S4 is controlled by a two-sided button on the base featuring a + and – sign. Press and hold the + side to turn the toy on and off. Then press the + again to switch to the next mode and the – button to go back to the last setting. There are seven vibration patterns on this toy, as follows:
- A light, solid vibration
- A stronger, solid vibration
- Wave (Low to High)
- Pulse
- Faster pulse
- Two quick pulses followed by a longer, stronger pulse
- Very fast pulses followed by a longer, strong pulse, then quick pulses followed by a longer, stronger pulse
The vibrations are light but intense, particularly in the flexible wings of the toy. Power queens might wish to search elsewhere, but anyone can certainly get enjoyment given the versatility of this toy. It’s perfect for either sex and fabulous for foreplay!
In my opinion, the best part about the vibrations are that they’re whisper quiet. This is especially important considering the fact that the S4 is marketed as a lay-on vibrator. Often, vibes tend to sound extra noisy when placed on a surface. Not so with the S4! Each mode is extremely soft-sounding. Perfect for thin walls and discreet playtime!
