Rocks Off is known for their rock-n-roll sex toys, and they definitely make an interesting homage to the Rolling Stones with their 40 Lixx Cock Ring. The box encourages you to “Get Some Satisfaction” this this unique silicone toy while you “spend the night together” and have no “sympathy for the devil” – clear points to the classic rock legend. Beyond just a cheeky rock and roll toy, the cock ring definitely delivers an interesting sensation – with a firm ring that applies pressure in places you wouldn’t expect, and their standard RO-80mm bullet vibrator slipped into the top lip, boasting 7 speeds designed to deliver direct pleasure. While this isn’t my favorite go-to cock ring because of the sometimes-uncomfortable design and the generally lighter vibrations bullet (whose vibrations get a bit lost in the thick silicone), this toy is fabulously fun for someone who loves a little rock and roll flare (and especially who loves the Stones!)

Unique Design

The 40 Lixx Cock Ring features Mick Jagger-like lips (the logo of the Stones) with the Rocks Off RO-80mm bullet tucked inside the top lip. It is nearly 2.4 inches tall, 2.3 inches wide, and .8 inches thick at the largest point. It’s fairly large for a cock ring (particularly the lower tongue portion), so may feel a little bulky compared to thinner, more sleek rings. Despite it’s size, the cock portion of the ring is fairly small comparatively, and a bit oddly shaped. While the material does stretch, it’s not super stretchy, so fits very firmly when accommodating larger sized guys. More on that below!

A Tight Fit

Cock rings are designed to keep guys harder for longer by applying pressure around the penis. However, this cock ring felt firmer and thicker than most, leading to a more constricted sensation. Fitting firmly around the base of the penis, this cock ring can stretch to size, but definitely takes a little more power to get it there than a smaller, stretchier ring. If your man isn’t used to the sensation of a firmer, snugger ring – this might be one to pass on. The image below shows how the cock ring can stretch around a penis, but the size pictures is basically about max capacity. Any larger than that, and this cock ring will struggle to stretch.

Porous Material

The entire toy (aside from the bullet) is made of red TPE, a stretchy yet porous material that isn’t one of our favorites. While it’s not bad for your body per-se, this material is porous, which means it can harbor bacteria and can’t be fully sanitized. Even when washed carefully, bacteria can live inside the pores and grow over time, and possibly contribute to infections like yeast infections. So, keep that in mind when thinking about this toy, and make sure to not only clean it thoroughly and store it safety (preferably in a bag rather than rolling around in your bedside drawer) and make sure to throw it away if it starts to show any weird signs, like smells or growths.

Light, Lost Vibrations

The Rocks Off RO-80mm bullet, which we reviewed previously, is not a strong bullet to begin with. This particular bullet is a bit upgraded than the original we reviewed – with 7 different patterns (3 constant vibrations, 3 pulsating, and one escalating pattern). Yet, the power of this bullet still remains buzzy and low-to-mid level. If you’re new to the vibrating sensations, this isn’t a bad starter. Unfortunately, the vibrations get lost in the thick material of the cock ring, and are dulled further. Regardless, if you like light vibrations, you won’t necessarily find these vibes disappointing. They can be felt, and deliver vibrations across the broad upper lip of the toy, to bring sensation across the clitoris and labia (rather than pin point focused).

Overall

The Rocks Off 40 Lixx cock ring is a great gift for a rock and roll fan, and is definitely a fun gimmick to combine sex and rock and roll (a natural combination!) While the vibrations don’t travel fabulously, and it’s not made of our favorite materials – it’s still fun for a few uses, especially if you’re into rock and roll vibes. Personally, this toy will get a prime spot on my sex-toy bookshelf so I can show off it’s cute design – although I’d reach to other, more powerful cock rings to play with in the future.
