I hadn’t tried a traditional vibrator since my very first vibrator, which was, admittedly, an impulse buy that soon became discarded as I got a taste for the finer sex toys in life. At the risk of sounding cliche’, the Dream certainly lived up to its name, with a velvet smooth silicone, an adorable design, 6 powerful vibration speeds, and 7 unique patterns – for a total of 42 combinations. More than living in a dream – this vibe brought me to heaven! It is easily one of the best vibrators I own. My review below!

Design
The Lovelife Dream is a traditional slimline vibrator, with a round tip for easy insertion. At it’s largest point, this vibe is just 4.5 inches in circumference, making it ideal for beginners. It had a nice, comfortable feeling of “fullness” without an over-the-top sensation – perfect for anyone searching for a nice size vibrator that doesn’t push their limits. At the top, there’s a cute little face that looks less like a smiling face, and more like my disappointment when revealing a hookup’s small dick for the first time. But, it’s a cute design regardless – and those little face details are put to good use. To turn the vibe on or off, hold down the “mouth” of the face for 4 seconds. But, beware if you’re living with roommates – the 4-second hold can make turn off seem like a lifetime if someone walks in on you. You can also cycle through the patterns with the mouth, and use the “eye” buttons to control your speed, with the plus for a stronger vibration, and the minus to go weaker. The Lovelife is also USB rechargeable with a 2 hour play time – which means no rummaging through your drawers when your buzz has been killed.
Vibration Settings
The Lovelife Dream features 7 vibration patterns, each of which has 6 speeds or intensities. With 42 awesome combinations, you’re sure to find the perfect speed and pattern that fits your preference. Aside from the great design and comfortable feel, this is the main reason why I think this vibe is absolutely ideal for beginners. Even though it’s a bit on the pricey side, the Lovelife is a fabulous high-quality toy that can help anyone to figure out exactly what they like. If you’re experienced with toys, you’ll absolutely find the perfect speed and pattern you love – and possibly even learn something new!

The vibration is felt most strongly in the tip of the toy. All of the vibrations are pretty rumbly, except for the last, which is strong and buzzy. When you switch to the next pattern, the vibe keeps the same intensity as the previous setting – so you won’t have to cycle through to get back up to your preferred speed. It’s definitely not an orgasm-ruiner, and doesn’t shut off or change speeds randomly against your will.
Material
Like many of my other favorite toys, the Lovelife Dream is made of 100% silicone, aside from the plastic base. Silicone is known to be the safest material on the market… with an incredibly pleasurable feel. It is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, phthalate free, odorless, tasteless, and without fail the go-to material for body-safe toys. This particular silicone has a velvety matte texture, which gives it a little bit of drag. It should definitely be paired with a nice water-based lube for easy insertion. However, unlike most silicone toys, the plastic base seems to travel throughout the length of the toy, so it is not at all plushy and pliable. Rather, it is pretty hard and rigid. If you prefer softer materials for insertion, you may find this a problem.
Beyond the amazing feel of this material, silicone is incredibly easy to care for. You can quickly and easily wash the Lovelife Dream with soap and warm water (both before and after play) and can also use toy wipes or cleaners. Since it it’s splash proof but not waterproof, be careful while cleaning. Don’t use alcohol on silicone toys, as it could degrade the material – and don’t boil it or put it in the dishwasher, as it can ruin the vibration mechanics. Also, always use a water based lubricant with silicone toys, to avoid the silicone “melting”, degrading, and otherwise getting messed up from chemical reactions.

The Lovelife Dream is by far one of my new favorite vibrators. From high-quality materials to strong, unique pulse patterns – this vibe has everything I could have asked for, all topped off with a cute design, rechargeable ease, classy carrying pouch, and cute box for storage. Although it’s a bit pricey at $69, it is absolutely worth every penny. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced toy user, it’s always wonderful to have a nice high-quality vibe in your naughty drawer. I’m definitely glad that I added the Lovelife Dream to mine!
