Massages are one of my favorite things in life… right up there with sushi and KUWTK (a total guilty pleasure). Not only are they incredibly relaxing and feel amazing, but they can totally lead to some super-chill and romantic erotic encounters. And massages are even better with the right oil and a good tool or two to help put pressure in all the right places. So, when I got Jimmy Jane’s Contour M Ceramic Massage Stone, I was thrilled to try it out. It definitely didn’t disappoint. The material felt great against my skin, it was easy for my partner to hold, and the design was absolutely perfect to sooth my muscles and get me totally relaxed. If you’re a fan of massages (and really, who isn’t?) you have to give this amazing, and surprisingly inexpensive, product a try!

What Is It?

The Jimmyjane Massage Stones come in three different designs… the I, which is a barbell you can roll, the M, which is the one I received and has several nubs perfect for applying pressure (especially for broad strokes), and the Q, a smaller node designed to make serious progress on your pressure points.

Jimmy Jane says,

[The] Contour Ceramic Massage Stones offer a modern take on traditional hot stone massage. Made of double-fired porcelain, they’re bio-compatible, durable, and easy to clean. With smooth, polished surfaces, they glide over the skin, relieving tension as they go. Use them individually, or pair the stones for different massage techniques. Warm them up to soothe, or cool them down to refresh.

The material is incredibly smooth but surprisingly lightweight, so it feels more like a high-quality plastic than ceramic. Since it’s porcelain, it could be warmed or cooled (in warm or cold water) to give additional sensation. Warming it up is especially lovely for a relaxing massage. You can easily pair this with your favorite massage oil without any fear of ruining the material, and it’s incredibly easy to clean with a quick rinse.

How It Works

The Contour M can be used on either side to give different sensations during a massage. It has a round top for long, broad strokes, and four smaller rounded mounds on the bottom that can be used together or individually for more intense massage. It glides incredibly easy against the skin with a little massage oil. It’s incredibly easy to hold and fits nicely and comfortably in the palm of my hand. Overall, it works exactly like it’s supposed to, targeting knots in my back and providing relaxation and relief wherever it touches. Just be careful not to apply pressure to sensitive spots (like the spine or shoulder blades) to prevent any discomfort or injury. The toy can also become incredibly slippery with massage oil, so you may want to have a towel handy.
