First Impression

The Pulse Warming Dispenser is nicely packaged. It comes in a sturdy box with cute rainbow detailing around the center. The device itself is sleek, curved, and lightweight. With a flat base, it sits upright without any additional support. It’s very discreet, small enough to be left out on a nightstand without raising any eyebrows or easily tucked away in a drawer.

Pulse also includes their signature Lube Pods, the H2Oh! and Aloe-ahh, cutely wrapped in ribbon under the device. There are two of each. The first is a water-based lubricant with Chia and the other is silicone-based with moisturizing Aloe and Vitamin E. Both are designed to replenish the body’s natural lubrication, are free of parabens and petrochemicals, and compatible with latex and polyisoprene condoms. Aloe-ahh is also safe to use with polyurethane condoms.

In Use

Included in the box is a short, easy to follow user’s manual that made learning how to use my Pulse a breeze. To get started, the device needs to be plugged in and a lube (or massage oil) pod inserted. There is a power port on the bottom back of the Pulse and an included cable long enough for the device to be within reach, even if the outlet isn’t. To insert a Pulse Pod, simply press the top button and the pod chamber will open. Remove the cap from the pod of your choice and put the pod into place so that the dispenser is at the top facing down, then close. Now the fun begins! Press the raindrop symbol to activate warming.

I gave my Pulse a couple minutes to heat the lubricant up before placing my hand under the dispensing portal. And when I did, it was met by a perfectly warmed, ample amount of luxuriously silky lube. It delivered exactly what it promised! The liquid of the lube never actually touches the dispenser and no extra drips out after removing your hand, making it completely mess-free. Plus, both lubricants added an extra level of slip and moisture during sex.

Taking it a step further, there is a mood setting feature on Pulse. Pressing the sun symbol on the backside of the device lets you cycle through six different colors while running your finger along the vertical slider changes the intensity of each. It’s just another way this device aims at boosting intimacy.

Cleaning & Care

After each use, wipe the exterior of Pulse with a damp cloth and let air dry. Storing is easy – it can be left out or put away. Just be sure to unplug the device and remove the pod before putting it away.

And if, like me, you want to keep your Pulse out, but don’t want to have to worry about just anybody being able to use it, this isn’t an issue. You can lock the system by holding down the control button for three seconds.

Overall

Pulse is absolutely amazing! This warming device is sleek, durable, discreet, and went beyond my expectations. It quickly heats up lubricant pods to an ideal temperature, making it an easy and mess-free way to incorporate lube to sexual encounters. Even more, it has a mood light setting that allows you to play around with various colors and intensities to add a nice glow to the room.
