You turn on the Mermaid by holding down the power button at the base of the toy for about three seconds till you see a blue light come on. However, pairing the remote to the vibrator is a little finicky. I found that turning on the remote first and then the toy itself second works best.
You turn the remote on the same way, by holding the power button down till a blue light flashes on. Once you’re paired up you can cycle through the settings to get a sense of the vibrations, by pressing the wave button on the remote.
Inserting all of the Mermaid may take a little adjusting since you are working with two insertable arms. The P-spot/anal arm is extremely flexible, you can bend it all the way back. The insertable length of the p-spot stimulator is about 3 inches and it’s really narrow throughout so also not a bad option for beginners to butt play. The G-spot arm is really firm though, it doesn’t have any flexibility. The insertable length of the G-spot stimulator is about 3.5 inches and at the widest point of the tip, the girth is about 4.5 inches in circumference. So a decent size, and it curves up slightly to target your g-spot.
One other feature that the G-spot stimulator has is a heating function. If you double-tap the power button on the remote you should see a little red light come on at the base of the toy. The heat is mainly at the tip and isn’t all that noticeable but it can be a nice addition.
The clitoral stimulator is also very flexible. You can wiggle it around and maneuver it to just the right spot for you. It has these three silicone tabs sticking out, that I imagine are supposed to simulate a tongue, but I don’t feel they add anything to the vibrations. I think you’d have the same amount of sensation if they just designed it as a simple nub, but others may love this feature.
Once you have the Tongue Mermaid positioned where you like, you can find the perfect pattern for you. Or pass the remote to a pattern and let them have fun figuring it out. This toy is geared towards vagina owners, but given how flexible the p-spot stimulator is I think with a little imagination anyone can enjoy parts of the Tounge Mermaid Vibrator. It’s made of body-safe silicone, the toy is nice and smooth all over, but you’re going to want to break out the water-based lube for this one.
