I love Rocks Off, so I was excited to try their “ride-on” vibrator. Girl on top is always fun, and since I’m a little lazy, going hands free is definitely up my alley. While the Ruby Glow is a little too light for my tastes and doesn’t perfectly fit my anatomy, it’s definitely the perfect toy for beginners who love outer stimulation! Design

I’m crazy about any toy that’s made from body-safe matte silicone. The Ruby Glow feels awesome against my skin no matter how revved up I am. It’s velvet soft, and that and the user-friendly controls are definitely my favorite aspect. The battery compartment, which requires two AAA batteries for operation, is at the base of the toy. Two buttons on the front power it on and off, or switch between modes. There are ten different settings, so if you enjoy pulses, solid vibes, etc. you’ll find what you need. That being said, all of the vibrations are pretty low-level. I required something else, but that doesn’t mean that this toy isn’t amazing.

On to the design. The shape is absolutely perfect for stimulating the outer vagina, clit, and pubic bone. Dual motors ensure that all areas of the toy are buzzing for your pleasure. I tend to sit on the small bump on the back for vaginal stimulation that is light but pleasant. I really enjoy outer stimulation along my labia and the entrance to my vagina, so this part of the toy definitely appeals to me. However, with my anatomy, I can’t quite hit the ridged area with my clit when I do this, which is definitely what I want to be doing. I have to sit a little further back to do that, so I end up hitting the bump more towards my backdoor. I can’t get the best of both worlds. Others might enjoy using the toy in a different way, with the ridges providing stimulation into their vaginal entrance and the bump buzzing the clit. Honestly, both way were pretty pleasurable.

I know I need a little more power and that this toy isn’t perfect for my anatomy. But the great thing about it is, it’s ideal for so many people who crave vaginal stimulation but are unable to use your average bullet. Someone with mobility limitations or another disability could benefit from this toy. In fact, that’s a big part of why it was designed! Anyone with a vagina can simply sit on this vibe and get their rocks off, or at least enjoy themselves like I did.

Another benefit is that you can use the Ruby Glow naked or fully clothed. For skin-to-skin contact, a little water-based lube goes a long way. With clothes on, you can still saddle-up and enjoy yourself – another benefit I like for when I’m in a hurry or just want to do something a little different.

Overall

No toy is perfect for everyone, and that’s true of Rocks Off’s Ruby Glow ride on vibrator. But there are so many things I have to rave about with this toy. While I think I’ll stick to Rocks Off’s powerful bullets, anyone who enjoys lower level external vibrations, or who is looking for a toy that’s ride on and easy to use, should check this toy out.
