October 30 – November 2, 2025 | Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, Live Oak, FL
HulaFam, I’m about to have some serious scheduling conflicts because this Hulaween 2025 lineup is bring all my heart-eyes and confetti-cannons emojis to life. As someone who’s been covering festivals for thirteen years, Hulaween continues to be that perfect blend of transformative music, authentic community, and pure festival bliss that reminds me why I fell in love with the festival community’s magic in the first place.
Hulaween returns to Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Florida from October 30 to November 2, 2025 for its 12th annual music festival celebration. This four-day Halloween weekend bash welcomes another titanic lineup of the biggest acts in jam, electronic dance music, bass, and everything in between. Trust me, you’re going to want to clear your entire weekend calendar for this one.
Hulaween 2025 Lineup: Headliners & Must-See Artists
The String Cheese Incident & Jam Band Excellence
The String Cheese Incident returns for their annual hosting, and honestly, watching Cheese weave Halloween magic into their special set every year is pure festival artistry that never gets old. They’ll deliver multiple sets across the weekend for an incredible musical narrative that builds throughout the weekend, blending bluegrass, jam, electronic elements, and epic jam-sessions that bring the entire festival together for Halloween-theme grooves.
They’re joined by headliners Goose (playing two sets!) who’s live experience is a completely fresh approach that blends indie rock influences, driving rhythms, distinctive vocals, and spontaneous jam exploration. Their live shows prove that jam bands don’t have to sound like they’re from the ’70s to create those transcendent crowd moments.
Joe Russo’s Almost Dead brings their acclaimed Grateful Dead tribute with improvisational excellence that honors their spirit while creating something entirely fresh. Their ability to take familiar Dead songs and launch them into completely new territories makes every performance feel like discovering these songs for the first time.
The Disco Biscuits are also playing two sets, plus a late-night set at Spirit Lake by their electronic side-project alias Tractorbeam. As a personal Philly hometown favorite, watching the Biscuits play with their genre-defying fusion of jam, electronic, and pure creative chaos is always a total treat. Tractorbeam is their more experimental side, bringing their jammy sounds to the digital space – perfect for late-night Spirit Lake adventures when you want music that matches the otherworldly visual environment. All together, these incredible artists create a jam-fueled foundation to the fest that just makes your soul feel right at home.
Electronic Bass & Future Sounds
LSZEE, the mind-melting collaboration between LSDREAM and CloZee, is exactly the kind of creative synthesis that makes Hulaween so special. Two visionary artists combining their unique approaches to bass music into something completely new: an otherworldly soundscape that transports you to completely different dimensions. LSZEE represents the grand finale of their collaborative tour, and is one of the epic musical moments that is sure to turn a great festival into a legendary one.
Enter into earth-shaking bass at Zeds Dead, who’s shows are notorious for seemingly transforming your entire body into a speaker. experience that transforms your entire body into a speaker. Their low-end frequencies literally move through your chest, and their stage production creates a visual experiences that matches their sonic intensity, balancing absolutely dripping drops with moments of melodic beauty that give you time to catch your breath before the next wave hits.
Tape B b2b Mersiv plus their solo sets offer the full spectrum of bass music excellence. Their collaborative set opens Thursday’s programming alongside their individual performances throughout the weekend, giving bass music fans multiple entry points into their unique approaches to heavy electronic music.
If you love emotionally charged melodic journeys, you’ll absolutely want to catch ILLENIUM, who somehow makes you want to cry and dance simultaneously. His live performances create these cathartic moments, with soaring emotional melodies alongside drops that create pure emotional release. It always reminds me of how electronic music can be so deeply moving, speaking to something deep in our souls of shared human experiences that only the transcendent nature of music can so accurately capture.
If you love basically everything bassy electronic music has to offer, drop in at Mary Droppinz, who represents the evolution of bass music into something completely boundary-less and genre-defying. Skillfully blending breaks, bass, UK garage, electro, house, techno, acid, drum & bass, and hip-hop all in one experience; it’s pure energy incarnate and a master class in reading crowds. Her live sets are like musical storytelling – an emotional rollercoaster full of infectious, positive energy that’s impossible to resist.
House Music & UK Garage
My personal sweet spot is always the house stage, and Gorgon City is one of those headliners that I always prioritize on my personal lineup. They take over the stage with their signature deep house sound that’s made them global dance floor favorites. They have over a decade of chart-topping, club-captivating expertise that works equally well in underground parties as it does for massive festival crowds. They’ve perfected this irresistibly silky-smooth groove that gets your body moving before your brain even has time to catch up, with hypnotic, rolling rhythms that you feel deep in your bones. What you get at their live shows is this perfect balance of sultry, deep house vibes and high-energy moments that catapult entire dance floors into collective euphoria.
I’ve also personally fallen in love with Tinlicker this year, who stands out with progressive house and trance elements that deliberately build to put you right in your feels. As one of the most compelling acts in melodic house music today, I got hooked on Tinlicker’s genuine emotional depth, with a sound that feels just as good to experience on late-night emotion-processing drives as it does within a pulsing crowd. I’ll admit, a few teary moments have definitely taken me over at their shows. It truly feels like their melodies serve a purpose, perfectly crafted into a larger emotional architecture that builds tearful tension and entranced euphoria as it delivers a deeply spiritual, ethereal emotional release.
Conducta brings his scene-appointed status as the prince of UK garage to Hulaween this year! Representing one of the most important figures in the genre’s current resurgence., his live performances embody everything that makes UK garage special in 2025 – that bubbling charisma and infectious energy that transforms any space into a proper garage rave. What makes his sets so captivating is how he seamlessly weaves together classic UKG elements with a distinctive bounce and groove that’s both nostalgic and completely fresh. His DJ sets throw in delightful curveballs that keep crowds on their toes, ensuring listeners from all backgrounds and musical preferences will be brought together on the dance floor.
UK garage sensation Sammy Virji is another highly anticipated Hulaween debut. He’s spearheaded UKG’s resurgence while building a dedicated global fanbase, racking up nearly 50 million streams of his top track, proving that UK garage isn’t just making a comeback – it’s here to stay. Fans call their first Sammy Virji experience “losing their Virjinity,” and his recent tours in the USA and Japan have shown how UKG culture translates beautifully across so many different musical landscapes. His versatility blends upbeat garage cuts with heavy-hitting collaborations and festival-ready anthems, showcasing his ability to traverse multiple electronic styles seamlessly.
Spirit Lake Art Installations & Festival Experiences
Here’s where Hulaween gets absolutely magical. Each yet, Spirit Lake transforms into an otherworldly playground of projection mapping, sculpture gardens, and interactive art installations where you won’t just see the art, you’ll be living inside it. This is where Hulaween’s visual and experiential artistry truly shines, building the natural beauty of the park into a masterpiece completely otherworldly. Last year, my partner and I loved roaming the grounds to explore tiny houses with curated art, art cars that turned into fire-breathing dragons at night, and scavenger hunts designed to ensure you see everything the playground has to offer.
In the campgrounds, you’ll also find a blend of natural beauty and vibrant entertainment, with towering live oaks draped in Spanish moss that create natural spaces perfect for late-night renegade stages. During the day, hike to the beach that rests along the picturesque Suwannee River for a daytime community party and a dip in the water. No matter where you roam, the entire park becomes a temporary town where 20,000 people gather to create genuine community together, and it’s honestly one of the most high-vibe community energy you’ll ever experience.
HulaFam Community & Creative Festival Culture
What makes Hulaween absolutely magical is the HulaFam itself. Hula bring an incredible community of like-minded festival-goers together who understand that festivals are sacred spaces for authentic self-expression and genuine connection. As co-founder Michael Berg noted, “the heartbeat of this festival remains the same—our love for the culture, the music, the park, and the HulaFam that make it all possible.”
The way this community naturally looks out for each other, shares resources, and creates inclusive space for everyone to express their most authentic selves is exactly what festival culture should celebrate. You’ll find people offering water, sharing snacks, helping with tent setup, and creating instant friendships that feel like they’ve lasted lifetimes.
Halloween at Hulaween transcends simple costume parties with next-level self-expression and permission to explore your most creative, playful, authentic self without judgment. The costume culture celebrates everything from elaborate artistic creations to simple creative touches that spark conversations and connections. Whether you go full fantasy creature, cosmic goddess, or psychedelic cowboy, Hulaween creates space for whatever version of yourself wants to come out and play, and it’s always about celebration rather than competition.
Sacred Space for Personal Growth & Authentic Expression
Hulaween creates a community culture where different ways of being are not just accepted, but celebrated. It’s a place where you can explore aspects of yourself that might not have space in daily life, whether through creative expression, uninhibited dancing, or simply being witnessed in your most authentic self. I’ve watched people have profound breakthroughs on the dance floor, form life-changing friendships over shared good-vibes, and discover new aspects of their creativity through the festival’s supportive environment. It’s an experience that will crack your heart wide open and leave you completely transformed.
The multi-day camping experience also naturally creates opportunities for meaningful relationship building. Shared moments like late-night philosophical conversations around campfires and spontaneous dance parties forge connections that often last long after the festival ends. Some friendships might last just the weekend, while others become long-term connections or festival family you encounter at shows throughout the year. I always leave reminded that genuine human connection and our ability to connect and care for one another is one of life’s most cherished manifestations.
Essential Hulaween Prep & Packing Tips
Florida in late October offers ideal festival conditions: warm days perfect for dancing in lighter clothing, cool nights that make layers essential for comfort during late-night adventures. Pack breathable fabrics for daytime, warmer layers for evening sets, and waterproof options for potential rain. Comfortable, supportive footwear is absolutely essential since you’ll be exploring 800 acres of diverse terrain throughout the weekend. Consider multiple pairs for different activities and maybe something fun that coordinates with your costume.
Spirit of the Suwannee’s Green Team coordinates recycling programs, composting efforts, and educational workshops that connect environmental consciousness with festival community. But keep in mind to always leave your campsite better than you found it, and bring plenty of trash bags to take your waste with you when you go. Always leave no trace! Don’t forget refillable water bottles. Staying hydrated is crucial for maintaining energy throughout four days of festival magic, and you’ll find plenty of places to refill throughout the festival grounds and camp grounds.
Your Festival Planning Guide: Planning, Tickets, and Access
With multiple stages offering different vibes throughout the weekend, strategic planning is essential to see your top favorite acts, but make sure to leave room for spontaneous discoveries. My favorite sets always end up being the ones I stumble upon, whether from new-friend’s recommendations or simply following what sounds good as I roam. I personally plan to catch at least one of String Cheese’s sets (especially their special themed set on Saturday!), position myself strategically for 2 or 3 favorite acts I really want to catch live, and spend significant late-night time bouncing around Spirit Lake for electronic music amidst the art installations, which is the perfect vibe for new musical discoveries, forging friendships, and tapping into childlike play.
