Packaging
This lube was in a cute little package with a design that looked like feminine wipes from the 90s: innocent and friendly, yet suggesting seduction. I like the idea behind it: a natural, safe bare-bones lube that is great for any use.
Application
Pjur Aqua is a water-based lube that is odorless, tasteless, and crystal clear. I like that in a lube. I don’t want synthetic odors or tastes interfering with my sex. It’s a simple and elegant lube. It has no additives, preservatives, or parabens, so it is a good choice for people whose skin is sensitive to perfumes or lotions or really anyone concerned about putting synthetic chemicals on their genitals. Because it’s water-based, it’s safe to use with condoms as well as silicone toys (yay!). It’s easy to clean up and won’t stain (more pluses).
It goes on clean. The consistency was a bit watery, so it spread easily – a small amount spread over a large area – which I’d say is a plus. This is also sort of a minus, because it left such a thin layer and seemed to contribute to the lube not lasting as long. I needed to reapply after about 20 minutes when I used it on a condom during sex.

Overall
Overall, I think Pjur Aqua is a nice lube. It has a lot of positives. It’s body safe, feels natural, and doesn’t leave any stickiness or residue. The main pitfalls were that it was a bit watery and didn’t last very long. I would recommend it to lube newbies, people looking for a lube they can use everyday, and people looking for a simple body-safe lube.
