I’ve always described myself as a “power princess” in my reviews. As someone who enjoys high intensity vibrations on my clit, I’ve coveted a massager forever. Adam & Eve’s Magic Massager is exactly what I was looking for.
On the side of the handle is a power switch. You can turn the massager off using it, or switch between a low and high power mode. Like I said, I’m not quite a power queen, so usually the “low” mode does the trick for me. In the case of this wand, “low” means high and “high” means very high. I’ve never experienced something as intense as this, and while I haven’t tried the Hitachi to compare it to, I can’t imagine something much stronger. This definitely does the trick for me, even on the low setting. The low setting always gets me going (and sometimes makes me want a little more), though the high setting can be too much and clit-numbing (although other times, it’s perfect). It just depends what I’m in the mood for.
I’m used to battery-operated or chargeable toys, and a toy that’s plugged in has the ability to generate much more power than ones that are pre-charged. The cord is over five feet long, leaving quite a bit of wiggle room when it comes to enjoying yourself. It’s easy to use the toy in bed or on the floor, and I’m not limited by the cord placement. The noise level of this massager is, predictably, loud. I expected that, but still prefer to use it when home alone or just with a partner.
Use
Honestly, the little switch and long cord make using this toy oh so easy. The length of the handle is perfect for almost any sort of use. Whether you’re going solo or incorporating the Magic Massager into sex or BDSM play, it’ll certainly do the trick.
While scoping out the toy online, I noticed complaints about the head falling off. I haven’t had this problem, though I noticed it is removable. Honestly, I think this is a huge benefit! You can buy a replacement head for cheap, which is a feature I find to be very important when it comes to massagers like this one. There’s definitely a lot of debate with wands of this style as to whether or not they’re body safe. Many people use condoms on their massagers, since the heads can start to rot when they become moist. I really don’t prefer using condoms on toys that I use just on myself, so a replacement head is such a beneficial feature.
Finally, this massager is pretty much the same size and shape as a Hitachi. Because of this, any add-ons that you might find for a Hitachi can be used in conjunction with the Magic Massager too.

I’m glad I finally found a magic wand that meets my needs. While some have questions about the quality (and I’m unsure about the material of the head), I couldn’t be happier with my new toy – unless it were, of course, the original. If you’re in love with powerful external vibes and on a budget, definitely go for Adam & Eve’s Magic Massager. You won’t be disappointed!
