At First Glance
Elegant packaging matches the Mimi’s basic, yet pretty design. A double layer of sturdy boxing houses this toy, with the outer one featuring an all-over flower petal motif, and the inner being a textured black box. Inside rests the Mimi, a charger, and owner’s guide.
With a flat egg design, having a wide base that thins out towards the tip, and velvety feel, the Mimi is ultra smooth with no distinct markings along its body. It’s small in size and able to easily fit into the hand. At the bottom are three buttons used for turning the device on and off, and cycling through the settings. I received one in bold Fuscia; however, you also have the choice of Lilac, dark Purple, and Black.

To turn the Mimi on, hold the + button for three seconds. Like the case for many other toys, this same button is used to increase speed. Press the – button to decrease intensity, and the middle (~) button the cycle through patterns. And when you’re done, hold down the – button to turn it off.
Charging
The Mimi’s control center doubles as a charging station. Simply place the pink charging dock, on the end of the included charger, over the buttons and the magnets will connect. Make sure the logo on both the toy and dock are facing the same way. Then, plug the adapter into an outlet. Charging is indicated by a blue light on the adapter, and blinking red one on the actual toy. It’ll reach full charge after about two hours, or when the light becomes steady.
Experience
Two of my favorite things about this vibrator are how delicately it slides across the skin and its versatility. I noticed using different areas of the toy made for varying experiences of the vibrations. For instance, the flat sides were great for sending vibrations through larger areas, while the thinner ones provided overwhelmingly pinpointed pleasure when placed between my labia and clitoris. But while the Mimi is discreet in size, it’s definitely not in sound. There’s a noticeable rumbling noise, that only got louder as I increased the speed. Also, I found the buttons were sometimes hard to find and press during solo use, especially the middle one as it isn’t as raised as the other two.
Cleaning and Care
Taking care of your Mimi is simple! After each use, clean it with antibacterial soap and warm water, letting it air dry before putting it away for next time. I chose to store mines in the double layered box it came in- it was way too pretty to throw away- but a satin drawstring bag will work perfectly, as well.

Overall
While I did find it to be louder than what I’m used to and the buttons a little hard to press when using alone, the Mimi has still found a permanent place in my bedside drawer, and is one I’d definitely recommend.
