Foreplay should be an essential part of any sexual encounter, and there are so many ways to take it to the next level. This candle comes in a sturdy, 4.5 oz porcelain container. For the most part, it has a basic cube-like shape, however, one corner curves to form a barely noticeable pour spout. This makes for an easier, mess-free application without really changing the appearance of the holder.
The actual candle itself is made up of a short list of paraben-free and body safe ingredients, including Soy, Shea Butter, Aloe, Vitamin E, and Jojoba – each of which is known for its skin nourishing and moisturizing properties. Jimmyjane was even conscious about the type of wick they used, opting for one made from natural cotton.
Relaxing, Sensual Experience
Once lit, the Jimmyjane Afterglow Massage Oil Candle took about twenty minutes to fully melt down to an oil, though its mildly sweet scent began filling the room much sooner. After blowing out the wick and lying down into my massage-ready position, I couldn’t wait to experience this massage oil. The first thing I noticed was an ideal level of heat, just slightly warmer than body temperature. And the silky feel of the oil on my skin was sensational. It’s worth noting that this may vary from person to person, depending on your preference. I love a slippery oil that hands can easily glide through, which is exactly what this is, but it may be too much for some.
After about three quarters of an hour, the oil started to return to its solid, wax form. Yet, my skin stayed glistening and hydrated for a much lengthier period of time. Even more, I smelled of cool cucumber with a hint of floral notes.
Overall
If you’re looking to enhance foreplay, Jimmyjane’s Afterglow Massage Oil Candle is just what you need! The relaxing, cool scent of the candle followed by the warm, silky feel of the melted oil will engage both partners, leading to more than just an innocent massage. And with up to thirty-two hours of burn time, it’s definitely worth having on your nightstand.
