Sona 2 Cruise Out of the Box

The LELO SONA 2 Cruise looks exactly like the original SONA Cruise. Mine is hot pink, whereas my original is a pale pink, so I can distinguish them by color, but that’s about it. The buttons and controls are exactly the same, with an additional rippled design on the metal backing. The SONA 2 Cruise is made entirely of silicone where it counts, though the back is shiny metal.

I was ready to play right away, but my toy wasn’t. I needed to charge it, so I paired the USB chord with a charging block and plugged it in at the base of the toy. The port is exposed, but this toy is still 100% waterproof. The SONA 2 Cruise is also very ergonomic and easy to hold, just like its predecessor.

Sona 2 Cruise in Use

To turn on the SONA 2 Cruise, press the center button. The buttons are near the base of the toy. To switch between the modes, press the center button again. The modes are as follows:

• Steady vibration/sucking
• Pulse
• Fast pulse
• Faster pulse
• Rev up
• Waves
• Slow waves
• Fast waves

You can increase or decrease the vibration and sucking power of the toy by pressing the “+” and “-” buttons, just like with most toys. The SONA 2 Cruise works by creating a suction effect, and it does feel a lot like oral sex. In addition, LELO has a great feature that they put to use with their Cruise toys. Even at the highest setting, the SONA Cruise and SONA 2 Cruise are always holding back just a little bit. When you press the SONA 2 Cruise harder against your body, it kicks in an extra 20% of power, giving you what you need exactly when you need it. This feature is called cruise control, and I absolutely love it.

SONA 2 Cruise Versus SONA Cruise

The SONA Cruise and the SONA 2 Cruise are practically identical. They both have the same ergonomic design. They’re made of the same premium silicone to softly embrace your clit. Care & Cleaning

Like any silicone toy, wash the SONA 2 Cruise with antibacterial soap and warm water, and then pat dry gently or let air dry. You can also use your favorite toy cleaner. Don’t keep it near other silicone toys, because they can wear away at one another upon contact. The SONA 2 Cruise is completely waterproof, so you can fully submerge it when cleaning.
