If you’re in the market for an inexpensive sex toy to experiment with, I’d recommend the Screaming O Double O cock ring. It retails around $20, and has intense vibrations and a double ring for male stimulation. Although this cock ring didn’t do it for me and my partner (we prefer something higher quality), I would recommend this to beginners, because it’s perfect for testing cock rings out before going all out and making an expensive purchase!

Packaging

The cock ring comes in a bright package, with a clear plastic to show you the product itself. That’s really convenient, because you and your partner aren’t just left to look at pictures or descriptions, you can see for yourself how it would work with your anatomy.

Shape & Design

The cock ring is made from very bendy TPE, which is a super stretchy material that can easily fit any partner’s anatomy. It has double rings and a plastic bullet that sits inside the three inch TPE shaft. The shaft of the cock ring itself has little TPE beads on one side for clitoral stimulation. The cock ring is waterproof, so feel free to try it in the shower. That also makes it easy to clean, because you can run the entire toy under water and use antibacterial soap or your favorite toy cleaner. TPE is porous though, which means that the toy can never be entirely sanitized and can gather bacteria over time. So, you might want to toss this toy in the trash after a few uses or if you notice that it starts to seem a little gross.

The main difference that sets this cock ring apart from others is the double ring. The extra ring is designed to go around your scrotum. Basically, the big ring pulls over and goes around the back of your balls, and the smaller ring goes around the front. The TPE is definitely stretchy enough to pull over your balls and not constrict them in any way – don’t worry! It provides extra stimulation and brings some of the vibrations towards the sack itself, providing no-hands ball play.

Vibrations & Power

The bullet runs on three watch batteries, which come included and are inexpensive to replace. It only has one vibration setting, which is part of why I recommend this as a beginner’s cock ring. People more experienced with toys will want more variety, but that comes at a more expensive price. To turn it on and off, you simply push the button. That’s it. The vibration is buzzy and fairly strong, but it’s a tingly, at times slightly harsh, vibration – so not always entirely pleasurable. Since the TPE is so bendy and malleable, the plastic vibrating bullet can be a bit harsh on the clit. I would recommend using lube with this toy, and not having super rough intercourse, because the hard bullet could definitely cause some vaginal pain and discomfort.

Overall

I liked this cock ring, definitely didn’t love it. My partner actually liked it more than me! He liked the dual rings wrapping around his balls, and that it incorporated ball play, where most cock rings are solely focussed on clitoral stimulation. I just didn’t enjoy one tingly vibration setting, and the hard plastic bullet made my clit sore. But, it’s a great purchase for beginners who want to get a feel for how cock rings can be included in their sex life, but aren’t quite ready to make an investment.
