2016 has been an exciting year for Slutty Girl Problems.

When I first started the Twitter in July 2011, and the site in January 2014, I had no idea that SGP would create such an amazing community. But by the end of 2014, women from all over the world came to share their stories, and I knew we had something special. In just one year, our voices were heard as we made a stand against slut-shaming and reclaimed the word “slut” as something positive and empowering, rather than degrading and demeaning.

At the end of 2015, we were proud to have been featured in Cosmopolitan, in the interview “How I Founded Slutty Girl Problems“. That interview was a big turning point, and coming out as the founder of SGP helped me to show that sexuality is truly nothing to be ashamed of. From there, Slutty Girl Problems was featured on several podcasts, including Playboy Radio, Between the Sheets with Lora Somoza, Sex in Words, and The Greater Dater, and were a proud sponsor of Amber Rose’s Slut Walk LA.

Now, at the end of 2016, we are proud to reach more women than ever before, and are thankful for amazing press support and coverage worldwide.

In this year alone, we reached over 1.6 Million people all over the world, with a total of 3.6 Million page views. We have 110K+ members on site (you can become one here), 10,000+ weekly newsletter subscribers (you can sign up at the top of the site), and 315K followers, with growing support!

We’ve had some incredible opportunities to bring Slutty Girl Problems’ message to new people around the world. I’ve appeared on podcasts, done radio interviews, and had blog interviews to talk about SGP, plus contributed to lots of websites, and we even sponsored Amber Rose’s Slut Walk LA. Here’s some of the highlights!

Podcasts & Radio

Lora Somoza invited me on her podcast again, Between the Sheets with Lora Somoza on TradioV, to talk “All About the Boobs”! Alongside fellow guests Alison Tyler and Lang Partner, we had so much fun and a lot of laughs (plus some boob-grabbing).

I was also a guest on The Pickup Change Podcast to talk about Women’s Sex Fantasies, and we got candid about the hottest sex experiences women revealed in my interviews with Maxim, common sex fantasies (and how to share yours with your partner), turn ons, offs, and dirty talking – and how to score a threesome or one night stand. This might’ve been one of my favorite interviews of the year, because it was just so fun, candid, and sexy!

An amazing feat for Slutty Girl Problems this year, we were quoted and published in our very first book! Kinkly loved our tips on lube so much that they included us in their book, Sex Hacks: Over 100 Tricks, Shortcuts, and Secrets to Set Your Sex Life on Fire (which you can get through this link!) We’re so flattered to be a part of it!

This past October, Slutty Girl Problems covered Amber Rose’s Slut Walk LA for the second year in a row, and were incredibly proud to sponsor, promote, and have a booth at this empowering event. We had a social media contest, tons of prizes, and shared a lot of personal stories with people there. It was amazing to be surrounding by so many sex-positive people, all calling for the same message of change in the way we view sexuality, and particularly sexual assault.

I am incredibly proud to have represented Slutty Girl Problems this year in several posts on The Guardian, Elite Daily, Thrillist, Bustle, The Stir, Your Tango, and LELO this year!

For The Guardian, I was interviewed for their story “The Best Sex of My Life

In Elite Daily, I was quoted in their article “The Best Vibrator for Your Zodiac Sign”

I was quoted in Thrillist’s “Is Flirting Cheating?” – a fabulous read.

I was also quoted in Bustle’s “This Sex Toy is the Secret to Multiple Orgasms” and “8 Ways Sexual Inequality Affects Your Sex Life

As well as LELO’s fabulous “Examining Gender Disparity in the Bedroom” and The Stir’s “What You Should Know Before Buying a 24-Karat Gold Lady Toy for $15K

Slutty Girl Problems is now a regular contributor to YourTango! We’re thrilled to be featured on their site nearly weekly, and you can find all of our posts for YourTango here.

The Future

This past year, I had planned to launch a YouTube channel “SGPtv”, where I’d talk about sex tips, sexual health, dating, relationships, feminism, and share a lot about my personal life – plus games, guests, and other fun stuff! But, I have a lot to learn, which is taking some time. So, that project is still in the works but being pushed back. Still, you can subscribe in advance at www.youtube.com/lorraeb and be the first to know!

In the meantime, a Podcast is also in the works – and may launch sooner than the YouTube channel. Be on the lookout for that, and sign up for our email list at the top of the site to be the first to know about its launch.

In 2017, I’m launching a personal site at www.lorraeb.com, which will have personal blogs and updates, interviews, and posts any podcast episodes or YouTube videos as they’re released – plus, any other events or appearances that I’ll be at (like when we sponsored Slut Walk, or I toured Vegas for SGP). I’ll also be offering coaching (one-on-one Skype sessions to help people with their sex & dating life) and speaking about sexual health and tips (like at universities and adult shops). In the further future, I’m planning to launch an online orgasm course (because who doesn’t love fab orgasms?).

Through all this, I hope to keep creating a community to help other women, assure them that our sexuality is totally normal, and to not feel ashamed one bit about it…. thanks for being along for the ride!
