We’ve reviewed our share of couples’ vibrators, but most are geared towards those of us that have PIV sex. If both partners have vulvae — we looked this up, and shockingly this the correct plural for vulva ? — Wet For Her is known for their trail-blazing toys designed by and for lesbians, and the RockHer is perhaps their most innovative toy yet. The Wet For Her’s RockHer Mini Scissoring Vibrator is the perfect couples’ vibrator for taking your play to the next level. With ten modes and a wireless remote control, this wearable couples’ vibe is perfect for both scissoring or tribbing with a partner and solo use.

How to Use It
Some couples swear by scissoring, while others prefer other types of play, and some wave it off as something that only exists in lesbian porn created for straight cis men. If you haven’t tried scissoring or tribbing with your partner before, the RockHer might finally pique your curiosity. If you’re unclear on the concept, scissoring is when two people with vulvae interlock legs (like *gasp* two pairs of scissors) and grind on each other. The RockHer is designed to maximize pleasure during vulva-on-vulva action by providing more clitoral access, sensation, and vibration.
At first glance, it’s not super obvious how exactly you’re supposed to use it, but it’s actually fairly simple. The bulb end is inserted into one partner’s vagina, where it provides fantastic G-spot stimulation. Meanwhile, the ring holds open the labia and frames the clit, giving plenty of extra access to increase sensitivity during your scissoring session. Alternatively, the RockHer can be worn “backwards” so that the ring stimulates inside and the bulb is outside to stimulate the clit, a set-up that might be better for less flexible couples who might not have as much direct vulva-to-vulva stimulation, and would love some vibration to share. Whichever part is worn outside stimulates both your and your partners vulvae while scissoring for a mutually pleasurable experience that will have both of your toes curling.
Design
While playing solo, I loved the slimmer design of this toy and used it similarly to a rabbit-style toy for internal and external sensation. It’s just under three inches long at 2.75”, with a 1.26-inch diameter. It’s not large by any means, but extra length and girth generally aren’t necessary unless you crave that feeling of fullness. Most rabbits are shaped like a penis and can be inserted five or more inches, but the G-spot, on most anatomies, is only a few inches deep. The RockHer’s shorter length, combined with its wonderfully smooth and well-designed curve, make it perfect for g-spot stimulation.
The clitoral o-ring has a diameter of 1.26”, and while it vibrates as well, it’s primarily designed to hold the labia open for more sensation. We *highly* recommended water-based lube for this kind of play because the direct clitoral stimulation could be painful on more sensitive vulvas. Small note: it’s possible that those of us with larger labia might not experience the best fit. Thankfully, you can also use it over the top of your labia as well for less direct clitorial stimulation, which provides extra sensation around the clitoral area, and the extra pressure to the vulva delightfully massages the clit.
Power & Control
The RockHer comes with ten power modes including three steady modes and seven patterns ranging from blips, and pulses to slow builds and roller coasters, so you should be able to find an ideal setting for your preferences. The vibrations fall into the buzzy category, but maybe the rumblier side of buzzy. The RockHer packs a punch for its size, but you (obviously) shouldn’t expect magic wand level power.
In a welcome addition that makes it even more partner friendly, the RockHer also comes with a remote for ease of control. Since the vibe is wearable, just hand your partner the remote and get ready for some mischievous public play! The RockHer comes with a straightforward USB charger, and generally runs for about an hour once fully charged.
Care & Cleaning
The RockHer is made from silicone (one of our favorite sex toy materials) which makes it very easy to clean. Simply use soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner, then let your toy air dry or pat dry. Just be careful not to fully submerge the toy as it is splashproof but not waterproof, meaning you can get away with some light shower fun or a very gentle rinse, but using it the bathtub or putting it under water while cleaning could damage it.
The Experience
While using the RockHer solo, it was a wonderfully enjoyable experience. It was super easy to insert, surprisingly comfortable to wear, and the bulb was the perfect size to comfortably target my g-spot without being too long. This small-yet-mighty toy packs a lot of power — I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that the highest vibration setting was comparable to some of my toys that are twice the size. The hands-free experience was a definite plus, as I could enjoy the internal and external sensations without having to hold the toy, and could use my hands for other types of play with ease. While with a partner, this feature came in even more handy, allowing us to allow our hands to roam and touch each other while the RockHer kept us perfectly satisfied.
As I cycled through the many unique vibration patterns using the easy-to-control remote, it didn’t take me too long before I found one that felt perfect for me in the moment. The “spreader” gave me perfect access to my clit, so I could have an internal and external experience at the same time, incorporating my hands and other toys into play while solo. Fortunately, the spreader of this toy worked perfectly with my anatomy, but I can see how it might not work as well for vulvas of different shapes and sizes.
While using the RockHer with my partner, I loved the extra closeness that the spreader piece of the toy delivered. It provided extra access for direct stimulation, although personally that direct stimulation could become a little too intense. With a little re-positioning and adjustment though, I was able to find the perfect position for more sensation and contact, still with the sensitivity protection of inner labia and clitoral hood. You can definitely adjust the toy to your comfort there! I loved that the toy also gave access to my clit for toys, oral sex, and other types of partnered play.
Overall
The RockHer is a truly innovative toy, designed by people with vulvas for people with vulvas. It’s made for scissoring, but can be used for solo play, partner-controlled vibrations with the included remote, or other types of partnered play for extra sensation, vibration, and access. It’s super versatile and can be worn two different ways to maximize pleasure individually or as a couple. This is definitely a toy worth checking out!
