The Peppermint Tingle Lube by Aloe Cadabra is a fabulously tingly lube from one of the most all-natural lubricant companies on the market. Unlike most lubes, who use spearmint or fresh mint to get a tingly sensation (and often have a terrible taste), the Peppermint in this lube makes it taste like a candy cane! Add to that the extra “tingle” sensation you get, and the high-quality, body-safe ingredients, you have all the makings of a great lube.

Taste & Consistency

If candy canes are your favorite part about the holidays, then you’ll enjoy this peppermint flavored lube as much as I do. The lubricant gives you just the slightest hint of peppermint without being overpowering like some flavors can be. Combined with the light tingle that you get, especially after some friction is added, you’ll be in heaven. I really like that this lube isn’t sticky and it doesn’t make me feel like I immediately need to get up and take a shower after a little romp in the sack. Since it is an aloe based lube, the consistency is thicker than others. I eventually got over the unfamiliar texture but if you’re someone who doesn’t like thick lubes, I would avoid this one. Also be sure you don’t have an aloe allergy before using this lubricant.

Condom Compatibility

This lube is safe to use with any of your toys as well as latex condoms. As someone who has a slight latex allergy and prefers to stay away from latex condoms, I didn’t like that I couldn’t use these with polyurethane condoms (a latex alternative). The Peppermint Tingle lube doesn’t have any issue with polyisoprene condoms though, so those can be used instead of polyurethane for those of us who has a latex allergy. According to their website, and the box, you need to use this lubricant within ninety days of opening, so make sure you keep track of when you open it so you can use it in a timely manner.

Pros & Cons

Organic, Aloe Based, Tastes Great

  • Not Safe for Polyurethane Condoms
  • Expires after three months

The Aloe Cadabra Peppermint Tingle lube is a fabulous lube, and is an immediate pleasurable addition to your play. It could soon become your favorite lubricant too, so that pesky ninety day time limit shouldn’t be an issue for most people. The taste and consistency are perfect for those of us looking for a safe and organic replacement for the generic, everyday lubricants. I really enjoyed this lube, and would recommend it to others looking for that peppermint taste and tingle.
