I was super excited to get the chance to try Tantus’s new personal massager, the RumbleRumble. Tantus is well known in the industry for making high-quality toys that are generally gender neutral and high quality in both their design and materials. In particular, they’re well-known for their premium silicone blend, dildos, and anal toys. Though I identify as a cis-woman, I’m always happy to see companies expanding their markets and their minds by bringing gender neutrality to their products, and this one certainly fits the bill. Marketed as “A Vibrator for Every Body”, and meeting Tantus’s reputation for amazing quality products, this toy has my vote for new favorite non-traditional vibrator.

The Design

The Rumble is hand-held and cordless, with the operating system in the handle and the vibrating portion in the head on top. Imagine a classic Hitachi-style wand, but shaped a little bit differently. The body of the toy is blue shiny plastic, and with a black silicone head on the handle, which is where the vibrations are felt. The silicone head is removable and dish washable, but since the handle has electronics in it, it is not. The very bottom of the toy has a micro-usb port for charging and no covering for the port entry. The head of the toy is about an inch thick and two inches in diameter.

Vibrations & Power

There are three buttons on the Rumble, the power button, the forward (+) and previous (-) setting buttons. Since generally pluses and minuses are used to increase or decrease vibration power levels, this can be a little confusing at first: the buttons are used for switching through the different vibration patterns, + is next and – is back.

The vibration patterns are:

  1. Low Constant
  2. Medium Constant
  3. Strong Constant
  4. Quick pulses
  5. General Pulse
  6. Roller coaster starting low and going to high
  7. All patterns in a row

My Experience

The first time I used it, I couldn’t get enough localized clitoral stimulation because of how big the head is, so I was initially disappointed. But, after giving it a second try, I was definitely converted into a huge fan. Turns out, its just so versatile that you have to find the right position that fits where you’re trying to stimulate. For me to get direct clit stimulation (and boy did I ever, I had to wash my sheets) I have to use head at an angle. If I was to use this toy on my nipples or perhaps on someone’s balls, I would use the whole flat surface. Now that I tried it again, I’m super impressed with this toy – its design, versatility, and power – and I can’t wait to use it again!

Pros & Cons

  • Versatile
  • Rechargable
  • Strong
  • Multi pattern
  • Gender neutral
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Effective in delivering orgasms

  • Loud
  • Not waterproof
  • Size of the head

I would recommend this toy to people who are looking for a wild-card for their  sex drawer/life or if you like to use toys with you’re partner, due to its versatility. I would also recommend this toy if you want to make yourself or your partner cum, like a lot and repeatedly. It takes some work to find the sweet spot of body position and toy, but when you do, you’ll be ready to RUMBLE! (See what I did there?)
