Le Wand is the more beautiful, more powerful, and more luxurious counterpart to every other wand vibrator you’ve ever used.  It’s pretty to look at (if you care about aesthetics), it has an absolute multitude of settings to choose from, and it’s high-quality too.  This rechargeable wand massager has a place in my personal top three favorite toys of all time!

The Design

Le Wand is, like most high-intensity wand vibrators, roughly the size of my forearm and a hefty weight for a sex toy. However, it’s also completely gorgeous! The silicone head is slightly more ergonomic in shape than other wands, slimmer and tapering ever so slightly on the side closest to the handle. Attached by a minimally flexible silicone neck, the body of the wand has a shimmering pearlescent finish and metallic accents (rose gold on this white edition). When compared directly to the Magic Wand Rechargeable, the white of Le Wand is brighter and crisper, the Magic Wand looking almost grey beside it. It’s minor details like this that really make Le Wand so elegant to look at.

This is a rechargeable toy, and the AC cord plugs into the bottom end. Unlike many rechargeable toys, that charge via USB cable, you’ll never be left hunting for an adaptor block in order to plug it into a wall outlet.  It also comes with a handy carrying pouch, designed almost like a small duffle bag, that’s big enough to hold the wand, charge cord, instruction panel, and even an attachment or two.

Power and Functions

The controls of Le Wand are simple and easy to use, with buttons to increase and decrease speed and a center button to scroll through the functions.  There’s also an indicator light that lets you know when you need to charge your toy and, once plugged in, when it’s finished charging.

This is a toy with a LOT of power.  It is a bit buzzier than other well-known wands (such as the Magic Wand or Doxy), but overall I’d still label it as having predominantly rumbly vibrations.  The vibrations do become buzzier as you turn up the intensity though, so stick to the lower settings if you’re strictly a rumble fan. There are a total of ten different speed and 20 (yes, 20!) different vibration patterns.  While I’m not usually a fan of patterns or functions other than a steady buzz, Le Wand offers a few that are more wave-like rather than pulsing and I actually enjoyed them. There’s also a travel-lock feature so you won’t have to worry about your toy accidentally turning on at an inappropriate moment if you like taking toys with you on trips.

I do have to complain about the noise though.  Fortunately for me, I live alone, but this definitely isn’t a toy you’d want to use while your roommate is home.  You might be able to use it discreetly if you live in a two-story building and are on a different floor, or if there’s a lot of background music or other noise present.  It’s loud AF and it only gets louder as you turn up the intensity. I’d love to see the designers tackle this issue in an improved version.

Attachments

I received a Spiral texture cover with my Le Wand.  I didn’t love it. It’s made out of TPE, a soft and stretchy material, and the high quality that makes me love the wand itself so much just isn’t present in the texture cover. TPE is a porous material, which means it can absorb bacteria. It reminds me a lot of a TENGA Egg masturbator and, personally, I don’t like the feel of malleable toy materials. The Spiral texture cover is also pretty sticky to the touch and it attracts lint and other small debris very easily. Le Wand’s texture covers are designed to be disposable after a few uses and I completely understand why.

However, Le Wand also makes several silicone attachments for the toy.  These attachments transform Le Wand into a G-spot vibrator, a shaft masturbator, or add nubs and new shapes to enjoy.  While I don’t currently have any of these attachments, they look great and I would definitely consider purchasing one in the future.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Extremely powerful

  • Silicone head

  • Rechargeable

  • Attractive design

  • Wide variety of vibration options to choose from

  • Storage bag and travel lock

Cons

  • Loud

  • Not waterproof

Overall

Le Wand is an excellent toy and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a wand massager, particularly if you want one that’s ‘prettier’ than others on the market. If you already own a wand, this one might not be different enough to be worth it, but it’s a nice addition nonetheless. With so many vibrating functions to choose from, I feel confident that almost anyone could find a setting that was pleasurable to them and the attachments available add an additional level of customization.
